ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Migrate Substack and Stackr.

By accessing or using the service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the service.

SERVICE OVERVIEW

Migrate Substack / Stackr lets you back up and migrate Substack content.

The service is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, without guaranteeing uninterrupted availability.

NO ACCESS TO YOUR PRIVATE SUBSTACK ACCOUNT

We do not request or require your Substack login credentials (such as passwords) as part of normal service usage.

The service is built to work without access to your private account credentials.

PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS

If you purchase a paid service:

  • Payments are processed by third-party providers (such as Stripe)
  • We do not store full payment card details

Unless otherwise stated, all purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required by law.

NO GUARANTEE AGAINST DATA LOSS

While we aim to provide a reliable backup and migration experience, issues may occur, including:

  • Incomplete exports
  • Corrupted files
  • Delayed delivery
  • Loss of backup data

You are responsible for reviewing all outputs and maintaining your own independent backups where appropriate.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

You agree to:

  • Use the service lawfully
  • Only back up, export, or migrate content you have the legal right to use
  • Verify outputs before relying on them

You are solely responsible for how you use the data and results produced by the service.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Stackr and Migrate Substack services, including software, design, branding, and content (excluding your own data), are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, or resell the service
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Use the service to build a competing product

You retain ownership of any content you provide to the service.

TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate access to the service at any time if:

  • You violate these terms
  • Your use poses a risk to the service or other users

You may stop using the service at any time.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Migrate Substack and Stackr disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including:

  • Loss of backups
  • Loss of business or revenue

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the service
  • Your violation of these terms
